first off is the clacking noise when in park as well? if it is it may be a valve tap. you can research a valve tap it is common and usually not a huge problem right away.

The wheel bearings of the Subaru should be checked. Worn wheel bearings create a whirling noise, that gets louder as the car picks up speed.

It is located to the right of the ignition coil pack, on top of the motor. It is the black sensor, right behind the alternator, bolted into the intake manifold.

Should be on the Pass. side of dash above your right toe if you are sitting in the seat. 3 or 4 screws and it drops out.
If its right after you turn off the key it might be a power antenna motor.
Sparkplug sounds like is too long . Check to see if its the right plug.
