One of the cheapest things to try for this problem is to change the transmission oil and filter. If you take it to have it done make sure you tell them you want the filter changed, otherwise they will just suck out the old oil and put in new.
THe MPG of the Subara Impreza is 25 in city driving and 34 MPG during highway driving. The combined MPG for the 2012 Impreza is 28.
How hard are you driving it? How often do you change the oil? What climate are you driving in? etc.? etc.?
Depends on what they were doing, and who was driving. They were pretty evenly matched.

The Subaru Impreza STI offers 25/34 miles to the gallon. Of course that is under perfect and ideal driving conditions and is not guaranteed upon purchase of the vehicle.
This happened to my 04 neon. I had to replace the sparks plugs and the thermostat.
the sound is coming from your shockers...i think they need some lubrication..or get them checked if they need a replacement

sounds like to me one of the abs sensors may need cleaning or faulty.
