My 1999 Buick regal temperature control LED readout is stuck on 32 degrees for high and minus 2 for low. It still works but is there a way to reset LED reading?
Thanks in advance
all you can do is replace the climate control unit, they have them on eBay for fairly cheap
Fast idle motor is not functioning properly.
climate control panel.
All I have heard is to replace it.
Most likely your ignition switch is not functioning properly. Can be bought at Advanced Auto for $26.99 (Part# US216).
No
Depends on which computer you are referring to. You have a climate control module, power-train control module, etc.
is it manual or digital, get back at me
Pull the dash trip off gently from bottom to top, (just the dash trim by the climate control) and there will be 4 screws on the climate control module. Its best to buy a used 1996-1999 Mark VIII Climate Control module, since they have "Hard Buttons" on the climate controls. Pull out the old one, and replace with the new model. Newer model climate control modules are totally compatible w/the 1993-1996 models.
Generally you don't tighten the alternator, you just make sure the belt tensioner is functioning properly. Sometimes the springs of the tensioner wears out or breaks.
Try a factory shop manual from AUTOBOOKSONLINE.COM.
The 1995 Aerostar control for the heat uses cables to move the control valves. Start by checking to see that the temperature sliding control is moving properly, and the cable is adjusting the valve for the coolant flow.
