Hi,
It's a bummer where you've got this latest version of bluetooth when you can't
really use it.
You can't send or receive files via bluetooth on the iPod Touch. That's why you
can't see a mobile phone or another IPod Touch on you connected devices list.
Bluetooth on the IPod Touch is only in use when you play games with another person
side by side, though, you can use 'BUMP' which is in the app store to share photos
and pictures with another IPhone or IPod Touch, but not with ordinary mobile phones.
Hope that helped.

The easiest way to get music to your iPod is to plug it into a computer that has iTunes and click Sync. But if you have the Touch, you can buy the songs by accessing the internet directly from your iPod. Or, if your iPod and your computer have bluetooth, you can send the music via bluetooth.

All iPod Touches come with the built in ability to connect via wi-fi. In order to connect to the internet via wi-fi you must be within range of a wireless router. You do not have to pay any extra fee when buying your iPod Touch to connect to a wireless router.
You have to connect it to your computer then download them from itunes. You may also connect to itunes via wi-fi on your ipod. It does cost money to get songs though
