Sheer speculation. Balanced equation first.

CuO + 2HCl >> CuCl2 + H2O

I would speculate that the Copper (II) Chloride in percipitating did not eliminate all H(+) and Cl(-) ions, so pH is still high.

What will happen to sediments in a million years?

The sediments go into the ocean and get dry and become buried. The sediments go through some cementation and compaction and become sedimentary rock! :) Hope you enjoy...

How do sediments change over time?

The get compacted with burial and dewater. The grains from which they are made become cemented together and the sediments become sedimentary rocks.

What does an alkali fertilizer do to an acid soil?

As in all acid-base (alkali) reactions, it will reduce the acidity of the soil and, if there is an excess of base to acid, it can make the soil become alkaline. The soil will be less acidic if base is less than acidity, become neutral (if base = acidity), or become alkaline if base is greater than acidity.

Rock can become magma again as a result of?

What sedimentary rock is weathered by wind and water and the rock breaksdown int sediments If the sediments become cemented what type of rockwould it be?

sedimentary

What must happen to metamorphic rock to become sedimentary rock?

The rock is eroded or weathered away into sediments. The sediments settle and through compaction , the sediments are pushed together to form a sediment. Short Answer: It must be broken down into a sediment.

How do sediments become sedimentary rocks?

When sedimentary rock is weathered in nature by chemical or mechanical means, the particles that are produced can be eroded and deposited, becoming sediments.

What one sedimentary process makes conglomerate and breccia rocks different?

The length of time that the sediments that compose the rocks are eroded causes the sediments in a conglomerate to become rounded.
