The car probably requires an E.G.R valve(most common fault to cause poor starting) or a coolant sensor Best to have a diagnostics check performed before changing either part to pinpoint exact fault!
i would assume that the wiring loom must have provision for it,i have just purchased a used corsa trip myself today and come accross the same problem,nowhere to plug my satnav.
