It may have lost oil pressure. Is the oil full? Insufficient oil is the most common but not the only cause of low oil pressure.
you could have a bad fuel injector if dirt gets into the injector it will stay open
The injector gets full time positive power from the ignition key on circuit. The PCM pulses the ground. You could have a short to ground on the injector pulse circuit, or the most likely thing is the injector driver in the PCM is bad. If you have the fuel rail unbolted and pulled up where you can see the injectors, as I expect you probably do, disconnect the PCM, and turn the key on. If the injector does not spray out, then the PCM is the issue. if the injector sprays with the PCM detached, then there may be a short to ground in the wire harness.
a "knocking" noise could be your lifters. and the ticking when accelerating and letting out of the gas is the same thing. check your oil and if it's full then you may need to think about either having them adjusted, or getting new ones. depending on what you have depends on whether or not you wanna sell it
Allmost allways add it to a full tank.
your oil pump could have gone bad or you have a restriction in the flow like a clogged oil filter. needless to say if it is knocking it may have caused major dammage
I would say you either have a rod knocking or lifter knocking. I know in the 3.8 litre motors they are known to knock alittle when you cold start them. Most Grand Ams, Grand Prixs are like this. My sister has a 2002 Grand Am that does this and the noise goes away once it's warmed up. I would also double check and make sure your oil is full. get your car to a garage for a def solution.
A saturated fuel injector is also known as a High Impedance (or High z) fuel injector. The high z injector has a larger ohm draw through the coil (12v-15v) vs. a peak-hold (Low Impedance, Low z) injector, which is 2v-4v. Another difference is the how the injector uses the voltage to open the injector. A high z injector uses the full voltage to open and hold open the injector, therefore it voltage saturated. A low z injector (peak-hold) has a peak of high voltage to open then injector then uses a lower voltage to keep the injector open for the remainder of it's cycle. What this means to you, the low z injectors typically needs a resistor in line to add the necessary resistance to properly drive the system, otherwise the injectors could overheat to fatigue. A high z injector does not need a resistor.
In the gas tank...put one bottle to a full tank of gasoline.
Yes
Follow the directions on the container for the best results.
Have you checked your thermostat?
