Yes, you can transfer from a community college with an A.S. in one major to an university for a B.S. in a different major. However, only your Gen. Ed credits and those that are directly related to your new major will count towards the credits for your B.S.. In other words you still need to complete the core curriculum to obtain the associates in your new major.
