If they were born together and have never been apart, then yes. If they have been apart for some time they will fight and most likely die. If you were to put a baby in with a older one, the older one will most likely kill it, so it is not a good idea.

I could be physical or mental, but the likely hood of survival to her of the infant isn't good. By all means if you wish take the baby from the mother once you make sure there will be no bonding between them. Find out all you can how one can help feed and maintain a baby Hamster, that is if you are sure you wish to do this. It sounds like it could be a lot of fun. You should buy hamster food from the store. Then if your going to keep it then buy shredding and a cage. Take a picture and photo copy the picture 10 times and type LOOSE HAMSTER, on the page so any one who's hamster may have gotten loose then you may return it. :) But yeah just feed it normal hamster food I THINK don't rely on my answer, maybe you could crush the food up a bit.
