It's possible that your cycle is off and you ovulated late and could be pregnant, it's more likely that your period is delayed due to stress or other physical reasons. If your period doesn't start soon and you still have a negative hpt then I would call your doctor to discuss options.

Missing periods are common, and not always because of pregnancy. You could be stressed, sick, you started/went off Birth Control, are dieting, etc, etc, etc,
But... If you are having some/many of the symptoms of pregnancy (IE a missed period, sore breasts, etc, etc), and you are sexually active and recently had unprotected sex, then there is always a chance you are pregnant.
You did the smart thing by taking a test. However, sometimes HPTs can give false negatives if you take them before your hormone levels peak high enough to be detected. When you are pregnant, a hormone called HCG increases, and that is what a HPT checks for, certain levels of HCG in your urine.
If you can, I would take another test, or two, as soon as possible. The best thing (trust me from experience) is to take them first thing in the morning, when you have a full bladder. If you keep getting a negative, you can and should check with you doctor to eliminate any further doubt or question.
You probably took an expired pregnancy test but there is still a possibility. Are you still having sex with your partner since that day? If so than there is a 70% chance, answer the following questions Do feel like throwing up? Are you very tired and stressed? Do your breasts hurt? Do eat weird combinations of food like pickles and ice cream? Do you have mood swings? If you said yes to most of them you should probably go to a gynecologist soon and don't forget to stay off your toes and don't sleep on your stomach!
yes you could be pregnant. the hpt are not always able to tell the surge of hormones your body gets when your pregnant, so wait about 1 wk and take another one. it could be that, or your period is late because your stressing out because of the possibility. best thing to do is like i said, take another one in about 1 wk
YES. Pregnancy tests aren't 100% accurate and that's assuming you used it correctly and at the right time. You can't do them too early in your cycle or they're ineffective. You can't drink too much water before you do it or it'll dilute your pee. You have to make sure the pee that comes out first touches the pad.
I suggest you either bite the bullet and go to the doctor or go out and buy a double pack of tests and do them both. The chances of both giving a false reading is almost impossible. Since you're 21 days late, you can't be too early. Don't drink too much water. Let the pee come naturally. Pee carefully into a cup (not too much) and dunk the test sticks in so that you're testing with the pee that comes out first.
Good luck
Yes, you could be. I suggest going to the doctor to get a pregnancy test done there. It is generally thought that blood tests are more reliable than at home test kits.
It is possible, but unlikely. You should make an appointment to see your doctor.
You should take a pregnancy test to find out. You can buy one from the supermarket or chemist or you could get one done at the doctor's.
It is possible. I suggest going to see the doctor or gynaecologist

Females do not get pregnant during their menstrual period. They get pregnant during ovulation. There are many reasons that your period could be late. Stress is one. If your still not happy wait a few more days and if you still don't have it go and see your doctor. He will perform a test and get rid of all your worries.
Wait a few days and if you don't get your regular period test again. If you get a positive result or still get a negative with no period within a few more days go see your dr as soon as possible.
Yes. If you feel that you could be pregnant you should take a home pregnancy test. I recommend buying a brand that gives you more than one test. Test with the urine when you first wake up as this contains the most hormones. If you get a negative result wait a few more days and if your normal period doesn't arrive test again. If you get a positive result or if you still get a negative result and still don't get your period in a few days see your dr.
theoretically no, but there CAN be a slight bleeding.
