If its the v6 there are 8 bolts and 4 nuts.
I have a 1989 Probe and also had a tick, I found that the exhaust manifold bolts were loose. I removed the heat shield and tighten the bolts. NO MORE TICK
if its a v6 then its right on top of the engine. but its i4 then its behind the engine.
There are many. All hoses get their vacuum from the intake manifold. (plenum)
I have a 1994 2.5L probe, so it may be alittle different, but my valve is in the back of the engine about centered and attached to the intake. It is bolted to the intake with 2 bolts and has a metal hose that drops down to the exhaust manifold. If you don't see the valve, I would suggest getting under your car and chasing that hose.
The egr valve is located on the back center of the engine. It is right under the intake manifold.
The knock sensor is on top of the engine block between the heads under the intake manifold and the coolant pipes.
The thermostat is located on the right side of the engine looking in, in between the intake manifold and the air filter box, underneath the wiring. This is in a 1994 Ford Probe GT 6 cylinder
On the fuel rail right in the middle of the intake manifold. Each injector shoots into a different cylinder. One for each.
This truly depends on the engine type. Some engines have very flat intake manifolds and a bolt can simply sit. However to err on the side of caution you should assume that this "small" bit could go into a valve. This would mean a bent valve or at the very worst it would travel all the way to the piston resulting in certain bore damage. Try a magnetic probe or , if you must, remove the manifold.
Driver side of the motor behind the distributor and below the air intake hose. You will see the hose running from the radiator. There will be 12mm bolts that hold the cover and the thermostat will be in there.
The 1991 Ford Probe does not have a transmission fluid intake reservoir. All of the transmission fluid is contained in the transmission.
remove air intake so you can get to it disconnect neg battery terminal , remove mounting bolts and detach ,installation is just reverse
