If it's still under warranty, I would send it back to Crosman. (See link below for address.) Make sure you are not pressing the release button, it's located just to the rear bottom of the trigger guard when you hold the pistol. (easy to do if you are left handed.) Make sure you have the BB magazine all the way in the handle, you will feel it click when it's all the way in.
