there were many cures although almost all of them were useless, such as applying a live pigeon cut in half to the buboes. a lot of the cures were made up by peddlers so they could make money.

∙ 15y agoThere was no cure for the plague, or Black Death. People died from the disease, and when enough people died it stopped spreading. It took decades for most of Europe to recover, during which time farms lay untended because one-third of the population had died. Of course not everyone caught it, and some cities were spared entirely because no one caught the disease to begin with.
