Modern Chiropractic is not officially defined, however, if it were, it would incorporate modern thinking; the germ theory, evidence based care, and the use of medication in the treatment of disease, and dis-ease.

Modern Chiropractic would help those in need. It would implement a little East meets West approach. Western Medicine meets Eastern Philosophy. This unique approach has a name: Integrative Medicine. It integrates the best of all the fields of medicine to give the best results (evidence based) of recovery and healing. An integrative approach is simply this: natural methods first; medicine/drugs second; and surgery last -- or all three used concurrently if your conditions dictates that approach. Western Medicine typically does not use the natural method first; time constraints, innate powers of the body, and use of natural methods are not backed by the allopathic profession, and often go unappreciated.

Modern Chiropractic might prescribe medication, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, LASER, body-work, exercise, diet intervention, nutrition, supplements, botanicals, herbs, acupressure, acupuncture, prolotherapy, and trigger point injections for the treatment of neuromusculoskeletal disorders.

Modern Chiropractic would use protocols that are tested and backed by research.

Traditional Chiropractic has a drug-free approach to wellness and typically does not condone the use of surgery. However, chiropractic has evolved over the last century. Although the term modern chiropractic is not mainstream, it won't be long before it is an accepted method of treatment amongst bodyworkers and manual medicine practitioners. It simply integrates all the best fields of medicine to get you out of pain; feeling better and staying healthy.
