This happened to me. I was on Yaz and my period didn't come when it was supposed to. It eventually did come, but it was about two or three days after starting a new pack. It could be caused because of stress, or pregnancy. Hope this helps!
No, starting the Pill will not immediately cause a delay in your period and starting the Pill late in your cycle can cause breakthrough bleeding that can last for days or weeks. The pill will start delaying periods after taken for a full cycle, depending on the hormones and your reaction sometimes it takes a couple cycles.
I have not heard of antihistamine drugs delaying periods. Check with your pharmacist.
I think what you're referring to is the birth control pill. Doctors sometimes prescribe the birth control pill to women who have irregular periods in order to help get their periods regular. There is no specific pill out there strictly for periods, unless you are thinking of Midol which is used to combat PMS symptoms like cramps.
Erm, the pill could not be working and you might be pregnant?
When the i pill is used, it can delay the periods and the chances of pregnancy are low.
When you take the birth control pill, you can expect shorter and lighter periods. When you stop the pill, your periods go back to their natural length and heaviness of flow.
You will be on a regular schedule, but the periods you have while on the pill are not actual periods, this is because you never produce an egg while on the pill. The pill simply regulates when your body "clears out" down there so you will bleed on a fairly normal schedule.
This combination of two drugs will not help you for delayed menstruation. It is good as an analgesic only.
yes it changed due the pill.
The pill may be causing the two periods a month. talk to your doctor and see if you can switch to a differant kind.
