hi u want to know abt the condition of Europe in genral or England coz Europe is a continent and England is the part of it.

The 19th century england was also refferd as The Victorian Age.

2 major events can be noted 1st the succesive reform bills of 1832,1867,&1884. 2nd the industrial revolution.

another feature of the early 19th century is the condition of popular education(which is very well reflected in Hard Times by Dickens). the rising of Capitalist and the emergence of a new class . the middle cls occupied an imp place between the aristocrats and the working class.

the theory of evolution by darwin was one of the most imp explanations in terms of the scintific discovery. this in turn questioned the very existence of god. science applied to industry did ultimately change english political and social philosophy. in terms of politics it is the age of democracy, though it was under the rule of Queen Victoria.

economics the wealth drawn from the collonial countries. England was getting rich due to its collonial intervention.

social - there is a social upliftment of class but ironically the emergence of another class: the working class.
