No. The spark plug wires have nothing to do with the illumination of dash gauges. Check your fuse box for blown fuses. A blown fuse that corresponds to the instrument cluster will cause that.
Vacuum leak, bad spark plugs, plug wires, or all three. Replace all vacuum hoses, plugs and plug wires. Replace the hoses one at a time so as to not get confused.
