I'm assuming you are talking about the fuel pressure? When you turn the key (but not as far as starting the car) do you hear a little humming sound? In many cars, you can hear the fuel pump pressurizing the fuel lines, fuel rail, injectors. If you hear the hum but have no fuel pressure, look for leaks or indications of a blocked fuel line. The fuel line is easy to find; follow it from your injectors back. Also find out where the fuel pressure sensor is - if it's faulty, that would give you this problem also. If you don't hear the hum, it is possible that you have a bad fuel pump or a bad fuel pump relay. Check/replace the relay first. Also make sure (this happened to me) that there is gas in the tank/that your fuel gauge works. I had a mechanic all over the car because of a similar problem; turned out that he had damaged the fuel gauge while working on the pump. It read 1/2 but was empty.
