The fuel pump is kaput.
The fuel pump relay on 1986 Chevy Elcamino 4.3 TBI is in the Fuel Injection Tank.
The 1986 Chevrolet C10 pickup truck fuel filter is located inside of the fuel tank. The fuel tank will need to be removed in order to change the fuel filter.
That truck has throttle body fuel injection. There is no choke.
1986 was the first year for fuel injection and if your truck is fuel injected the pump is mounted on top and inside the fuel tank. If, however it is an early 1986 it may have a mechanical pump mounted on the engine block. Follow the fuel lines backward from the carburetor and you will find the pump.

The 87 will bolt in to the 77 however, the 87 is throttle body fuel injected. You will have to convert the 77 over to except throttle body fuel injection perhaps with parts from a donor truck.
