No- in fact he was not nominated to run for a second term.
He was not even seriously considered as a nominee by the Republicans. He was considered as a Democratic candidate but did not get the nomination.

∙ 11y agoNote that the US has had two Presidents named Johnson, Andrew Johnson and Lyndon Baines Johnson. Neither served a second term. In the case of LBJ, he declined to run a second time. The Vietnam War had become very depressing for him and he preferred to let someone else deal with it.

∙ 11y agoNo, Andrew Johnson did not run for reelection in the presidential election of 1868. He hoped that the Democrats would nominate him, but after nearly being impeached a few months before, they knew that he would have no chance for beeing reelected as President.
