no he didnt. couldent infact but he could have imagined going into space. like victor hugo.

in those days they imagined that the earth was half a circle and at the bottom there was water. and floating on top was land.

the rain was on top off the sky (which was believed as a big stone) at in the middle there was a hole.and the water ontop was leaking from inside there!!
