Sadly there are not living survivors of Bataan. But a very good site is, American Defenders of Bataan and Corregidor, www.west-point.org/family/adbc.htmlAnswerUp until last Tuesday, there was at least one survivor of the Bataan Death March. William Sniezko died last Tuesday in Eugene, OR. His family said he was the last survivor but I don't have any confirmation of that. **Actually that was an error the funeral home made in giving information to the press - should have been 'one of the last'. Although the number of survivors is rapidly dwindling.AnswerOn a sad note, Gordon V Stoddard, one of the last survivors of the Bataan Death March, passed away Dec 21 in Sacramento Calif. If you need to find someone that was part of the Bataan Death March the Filipino people have made a computer database of who was on that death march. You can contact that tourism board about the Bataan Death March victims. They have a national site there and an office of people who have the database records. I have added a web page to get you started on contacting them. There are databases of survivors here in the US but the entire database of the 75,000 people is in the Philippines. Do not worry about language problems. They speak and write English better than some of us Americans.
78,000 soldiers took place it in. 5,000-10,000 Filipinos were killed and 600-650 Americans.
