I've heard that Marcus and one of the carmines survive for definite. Cole and the other carmine die and I'm not sure about dom and baird. Dom dies saving the others. He drives the semi into a tanker.

It is unknown as of now if Dom will die although ever since the Dev Build was leaked it has been everywhere. I have seen the entire first Act myself and Dom does not die although there is a scare where he is revived from almost drowning after they blow up the Lambent Leviathan. You will have to play to find out.

No word has really been said about GoW3 yet. They will not release a spoiler like that until the game is released. As for my theory, the Gears Of War Franchise has expanded larger than just the trilogy. The book series will go on after the trilogy, as well as spin-off games. I don't think Marcus will die in the next game but I am expecting a main character to be killed off. It just feels time *COUGH* Baird *COUGH* ;)

I hope they all die. Along with the franchise. TPS's are never a really big hit, and when they are, unfortunately Gears Of War, They will not survive many sequels. I was surprised that this managed to have three. But, I do not expect that there will be a fourth.
