He sorta did, yeah. He felt sorry for him. He had a hard life, that Snape.
Not really. Harry Potter hated Severus Snape until after his death when his true nature was revealed.

I believe you mean Snape, as in Severus Snape. Yes, he was good. Harry finds it out after Snape's death in Deathly Hallows.
No, Snape was in love with Harry's mother, Lily, until his death.
They don't use this word before the fourth book, but of course Lucius Malfoy, Peter Pettigrew and Severus Snape (who appear in books 1-3) are indeed Death-Eaters. (Severus Snape was a death eater, then changed sides.)
Snape's mother was called Elieen Prince and she was a pure-blood witch. His father was a muggle making Severus a half-blood. He used his mother's maiden name and his blood status to form he nickname.
Severus was pretending to be a death eater, spying on the Order of the Phoenix. When he was actually a Order of the Phoenix member, pretending to be a death eater spying on the Order. He risked his life for years to try and save Lily and then Harry.
Not really. Severus Snape joined the Death Eaters out of school. When he learned that Voldemort was going to kill the only woman he ever loved, Lily (Evans) Potter, he changed sides. Snape promised Dumbledore that he would convince Voldemort he was spying on the Order of the Phoenix for the Death Eaters. Really, he was spying on the Death Eaters for the Order and only passing selected information to the Death Eaters.
Voldermort dies, but he's not a Death Eater so: # Severus Snape # Bellatrix Lestrange # Peter Pettigrew, aka Wormtail
Voldemort and his Death Eaters. He used to hate Severus Snape before discovering he was on the good side. He used to hate the Malfoy's before they changed sides and before Narcissa saved his life.
He can never be considered a good person but he did fight for the Order of the Phoenix rather than the Death Eaters.
Severus Snape is named the new Hogwarts Headmaster. He continues to pretend to be on Voldemort's side and is always consulting Dumbledore's portrait, he suggests the idea of the seven Potters to Mundugus and only tells part of the plan to Voldemort. He also gives Harry the sword so he can destroy the Horcruxes. Voldemort thought that because Severus killed Voldemort, that Severus was the owner of the Elder wand so he has Nagini (his snake) kill him. As Snape is dying he gives Harry's his memories which helps to fill in the gaps of the story.
