Probably the key factor in Nazi hatred of the Jews - was their belief that Jews were the 'biological root' of Communism. Most German and West European Jews were not Communists, but in the case of Soviet Jews they thought they had the real, indisputably 'genuine article'.
Yes, Hitler did indeed hate Russia and the Russian people. This was especially due to the fact that Russia was an extremist left-winged Communist society. Hitler was a right-winged (fascist) radical who headed the German National Socialists Workers Party, or Nazi Party for short, which made the two forms of government polar opposites and ideological enemies.
There were other reasons apart from this that fed Hitler's hatred of Russia. Russia had a very large population of many different races that Hitler despised. One of these was Russia's huge population of Jewish people. He also hated the Baltic and Slavic people, which most of Russia's population is comprised of. He referred to the Red Army (Stalin's Communist Army) as the Slavic Horde. Russia also had fairly large populations of many other races that Hitler considered inferior, and a threat to his "master race". Hitler also personally hated Joseph Stalin, Soviet Premier and dictator of Communist Russia (aka USSR or United Soviet Socialist Republic).
Hitler also saw Russia as a land of endless bounty, riches, and spoils. Russia produced vast quantities of Natural Resources including, but not limited to, oil, lumber, steel, copper, lead, and medicinal plants and herbs like opium. All of these resources would have given Germany the means to easily defeat every nation of the world. Germany's downfall was ultimately due to the lack of these natural resources to supply their army and military branches, as well as Hitler's strategic military incompetence. If Germany had seized Russia's rich lands of natural resources, the world would be a very different place today. Luckily for us, and the rest of the world, Hitler made the mistake of trying to fight a war on two fronts, against the Russian Red Army, and the Western powers (like Britain and USA).
Hitler was a threat to the world. The Russians were a communist lead country, and Hitler was leading a Nazi government, these two political ideologies are opposite extremes on the political spectrum, and in turn they both wanted rid of the other, as they saw the other a threat to their future.
