James Watson is the co-discoverer of the double Helix strand of DNA.he won the Noble Peace Prize in 1962 for his work in medicine for nucleic acids.

Rosalind Franklin, her improved skills in X-ray crystallography provided a clear x-ray diffraction pattern which suggested that the DNA was helical in shape and nature. This image is what helped Watson and Crick complete their renowned double-helix structure.

James watson and Francis crick
Watson and Crick ---- James Watson and Francis Crick won the 1962 prize for Medecine for this discovery.
Rosalind Franklin did the measurements using X-Rays that allowed James Watson and Franicis Crick to decipher the structure of DNA. Dr. Franklin probably would have shared the Noble Prize with Watson, Crick and Maurice Wilkins but she died before the prize was awarded but the Noble prize is not awarded posthumously. Without Franklin's work Watson and Crick would not have made their discovery.

Ashley Francis's birth name is Ashley Noble Francis.
One of the people who worked tirelessly to discover the structure of DNA. Had her X-Ray Crystallography results "stolen" by Watson and Crick.
She and Maurice Wilkins worked together and took some x-rays of DNA. The DNA crystallography allowed Watson and Crick to look at the picture to determine it was a double helix and not a triple helix as Linus Pauling had thought. he said omg i look like my dad!! _i_
