No he did not. Scripture tells us that Jesus was born in Bethlehem, near Jerusalem. He went into exile in Egypt until it was safe for him to return. He then settled with his parents in Nazareth near Lake Tiberias (Galilee) following in his father's footsteps as a carpenter in that town. At around the age of 30, Jesus commenced his three year mission around Galilee and eventually in Jerusalem, where he was crucified. His resurrection took place three days later, and several sightings of him were made in that area and in Galilee after he returned there. Later he ascended to heaven. Therefore he did not leave that small area during the whole of his life. Mormons (a pseudo-Christian sect which holds beliefs that are against the Christian Church worldwide) would have us believe that Jesus appeared in the USA, but the Book of Mormon was written just a couple of hundred years ago against the gospels which were written either by eyewitnesses to the events or by their close companions, very near to the time when the events happened. Therefore, the gospels are regarded as reliable sources of the history surrounding Christ, but the Book of Mormon is regarded as fiction (and rather poor fiction at that) by the whole of the Christian Church.
According to the Book of Mormon he did, shortly after his resurrction. However, there are some who say that the Book of Mormon was really written in the nineteenth century and that this passage is not factual.
3 Nephi chapter 1 tells us that Jesus was born in the year 1 AD, with signs of this event being that the night was as bright as day, and a new star appeared in the sky. 3 Nephi chapters 11-26 record the appearance of Jesus in America in 34 AD.
