Yeah, Luke 22:44
When he was in the Garden of Gethsemane. Luke 22:39-44
A:This passage is only found in Luke's Gospel (Luke 22:44): "And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground." It supposedly took place while Jesus was praying alone in the Garden of Gethsemene and the disciples were asleep some way off.The passage is ambiguous as to whether Jesus sweated actual blood, or drops of sweat that simply looked like blood. Clearly, there was no witness to this, and it is not told in any of the other gospels. Moreover, scholars have now established that Luke's Gospel was substantially based on Mark's Gospel, so the reference to Jesus sweating blood, or like blood, is an embellishment intended to impress Luke's original audience. No one saw Jesus sweat blood.
Jesus in Gethsemane.
When Jesus prayed in the Garden of Gethsemane, it is described in the Gospel of Luke that his sweat fell to the ground like drops of blood. This vivid imagery emphasizes the intense anguish and stress he experienced as he faced his impending crucifixion. The account highlights both his humanity and the depth of his emotional struggle during that moment of prayer.
Although this medical condition is relatively rare, according to Dr. Frederick Zugibe (Chief Medical Examiner of Rockland County, New York) it is well-known, and there have been many cases of it. The clinical term is "hematohidrosis." "Around the sweat glands, there are multiple blood vessels in a net-like form." Under the pressure of great stress the vessels constrict. Then as the anxiety passes "the blood vessels dilate to the point of rupture. The blood goes into the sweat glands." As the sweat glands are producing a lot of sweat, it pushes the blood to the surface - coming out as droplets of blood mixed with sweat. So the reason why Jesus was sweating blood is that He was under a lot of stress. Read Luke 22.
Jesus sweat blood while praying because of the anguish he felt over this impending death. When someone sweats blood, it's called hematidrosis. Extreme stress can cause tiny capillaries in the sweat glands to rupture and this causes sweat and blood to mix. This makes the skin extremely sensitive and so Jesus would have felt even more pain than normal when he was beaten before his crucifixion. (Also, the book The Case for Christ does an excellent job at explaining what the crucifixion would have been like for Jesus pp.258-267.)
The 4 leaf clovers in the Garden of Gethsemane have red spots on their leaves. This is the only place in the world where these clovers are found. They are symbolic for when Jesus prayed at Gethsemane & the sweat on his brow was drops pf blood.
no.a book named A Case of Christ by Lee Strobel explained that because of severe tensions and nervousness of Jesus as he faced death, he sweated and some small veins (can we say) blew up. it's just a tiny amount of blood mixed with sweat.
A:The story of Jesus in the Garden of Gethsemene developed as it apssed from gospel account to gospel account. The first, Mark's Gospel, simply has Jesus pray to God that he might be spared his destiny, but if that be God's will he would do his will. Here there is no mention of Jesus sweating. This is taken up by Matthew, again with no mention of Jesus sweating. Luke 22:44 elaborates on the earlier account, saying that Jesus was in such agony that his sweat was like great drops of blood.Of course, it could be that the authors of Mark and Matthew simply failed to mention this small detail, but then we find that John's Gospel reverses the entire story. In this gospel, Jesus does not pray in the Garden of Gethsemene and does not ask God to be spared from crucifixion but does say a triumphant prayer to God (John 17:1-26) saying that his time had come, before reaching the Garden (John 18:1). John provides no room for Jesus to suffer before (or even during) his crucifixion.Luke's account adds a nice dramatic touch to the story of the Garden of Gethsemene, but we must remember that the author was not present and that Jesus was alone, with just Peter, James and John asleep a stone's throw away. We know the author of John's Gospel knew the story in Luke, but he clearly did not believe it.

There is no record of Jesus crying in Gethsemane. Though the Bible says he cried many times while praying - Hebrews 5.7Perhaps your question related to him sweating blood, in:Luke 22.44. And being in an agony he prayed more earnestly: and his sweat was as it were great drops of blood falling down to the ground. This happened while he was praying, and because, as he said to Peter James and John who he took with him:And saith unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful unto death: (Mark 14.34.)And this was because he did not want to go to the cross, and asked his Heavenly Father if it could be avoided; thus:And he said, Abba, Father, all things [are] possible unto thee; take away this cup from me: nevertheless not what I will, but what thou wilt. (Mark 14.36)
