no they hated each other
On the Mexican side, General Antonio de Padua Serevino Lopez de Santa Anna y Perez de Lebron. Known more briefly as Santa Anna, he was ruler of all Mexico at that time, including the rebellious Texas, and he personally led the Mexican Army at the Alamo. On the Texan side, Colonel William Barrett Travis and Colonel James Bowie. Although Travis and Bowie disliked each other intensely, they agreed to command jointly at the Alamo, with Bowie leading the volunteers, and Travis leading the Texan Army regulars.
The Battle of the Alamo, at San Antonio, Texas, which ended with a siege from February 23 to March 6, 1836 in which most of the defenders, led by William Travis and Jim Bowie, were killed. This defeat became a pivotal and inspirational turning point in the Texas War of Independence (1835-1836).The conflict of Alamo in San Antonio , Texas
John Wayne (as Davy Crockett, and producer of the film), Richard Widmark (as Jim Bowie), Laurence Harvey (as William Travis), and Richard Boone (as Sam Houston). Using these names you can go to the IMDb and find the rest of the cast and other info.
From what I have gathered about him, Davy Crockett was very nice, with an affable personality and the ability to get along with most anyone. During his brief association with Jim Bowie and William Travis he was on good terms with both of them, while Bowie and Travis were on anything but good terms with each other. One person with whom Crockett did not get along was Andrew Jackson.
To keep the regulars and volunteers from killing each other out of boredom.
William B. Travis was one of the colonels(commander!) at the battle of the Alamo(James Bowie being the other.) He fought along with Stephen F. Austin, Jim Bowie, Juan Seguin, Davy Crockett, and many others who gave their lives defending the Alamo.
In nominal command at the Alamo was Colonel William Travis who shared command with Colonel James Bowie and Colonel David Crockett. Travis and Bowie disliked each other intensely, and the amiable Crockett acted as a buffering force between them. Not an expert on Texan history here. Anyone is welcome to improve.

Militarily they cooperated well enough, but they did not like each other.

i think the leader of the alamo was Sam Houston i dont really know im in 5th grade and right now im in school trying to look up Jim Bowie facts The Mexican Leader was Antonio Lopez de Santa Anna. The American Leaders were William Travis and James Bowie.
There were defenders from New York, Vermont, Massachusetts, Pennsylvania, Ohio and New Jersey although the majority were probably southern born. There were also natives of Tejas and other Mexican states in large numbers as well as African American defenders.
