It is possible that Cabot explored the east coast of what is now the US. Records, if there were any, no longer survive.
Some historians say that Cabot never returned from his second voyage, but there is some evidence to the contrary. There was a report, around 1500, of a map showing the eastern seaboard of North America. If the report was accurate, it could have been produced by Cabot. Such a map would probably have shown Delaware Bay.
Whether Cabot actually did explore Delaware, however, is pure speculation.
