Does anyone actually know what his dream was? To me it was equality for all, an end to racial discrimination, but most of all to unify the countries different races as one; as Americans. But has this come true, at all? Equality for all, yes. End to racial discrimination, no. Daily people are faced with racial discrimination. By being the butt of a joke or being subjected to music like G-Units song "The Realest Niggaz" which has harsh lyrics like: "niggaz are me and I should only love that which is me". Lastly has the country unified and become one? This is the most controversial, but it is purely opinionated so the answer is yours, but, look at all of the facts first.

No, Dr. King would have wanted to live to see his dream of racial equality and an end to segregation and racism in the US realized. In 2008, the first African-American President was elected, forty years after Dr. King's assassination, it would have been a dream come true for him to see President Obama take office and residence in the Whitehouse.
