Yes he did

He married Ayesha bint Abi Bakr when she was six years old and consummated the marriage when she was nine. Since she did not reach menarche until she was 15, she was a child by most criteria today.

The Arabs considered a girl to be a woman when she reached menarche. From that point of view, all Mohammed's other wives were grown women. Some, however, were young women, whom we would still regard as girls. He married the following teenagers.

• Amra bint Yazid, aged 14 or 15.
• Safiya bint Huyayy, aged exactly 16½.
• Hafsa bint Omar, aged 18.
• Mulayka bint Kaab, described by her family as "too young to know her mind," something they could not have plausibly said about a woman over 20.

There was another wife, Fatima bint Al-Dahhak, whose age is unknown, but who seems from her behaviour and lifespan to have been a teenager. He also had four concubines, none of whose ages are reliably recorded, but all of whom were probably teenagers.
Several of his wives were in their 20s. Arabs would have considered this quite middle-aged, as they did not expect to live beyond 70, so 35 was the mid-point. While we cannot really use the expression "young girls" in this context, these young women were certainly much younger than Mohammed, who was in his 50s. The wives in this age-group were:

• Juwayriya bint Al-Harith, aged 20.
• Asma bint Al-Numan, exact age unknown, but probably about 20.
• Umm Salama Hind bint Abi Umayya, aged 28 or 29.
• Zaynab bint Khuzayma, aged 29 or 30.

Mohammed's first wife, Khadija bint Khuwaylid, was about 27. But she does not really belong on the "young wife" list, as Mohammed himself was only 24, so they were close to being the same age.
Sources asserting that Mohammed married middle-aged women are probably referring to the following wives, all of whom he married in his 50s.

• Ramla bint Abi Sufyan, aged 34.
• Maymuna bint Al-Harith, aged 35.
• Zaynab bint Jahsh, aged about 36.
• Sawda bint Zamaa, exact age unknown, but probably about 40.

All the ages mentioned above could not be confirmed. recording ages was not a practice before following Islam religion. Two points should clarified :

1. Khadija (God be pleased with her) was older than prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) by 15 years when they married. Prophet Muhammad was 25 years old and Khadija was 40 years old
