This is evidentally a popular folk-myth based on some facts. Queen Margherita was a music lover and indeed a prominent organist. She died in her bed, however surrounded by her entire family and religious attendants. I understand there were large quantities of prayer cards made up after her death that had a sort of composite figure of The Queen"s Body slumped over an organ keyboard- and flowers all over the keyboard and angels above- and a caption saying in Italian-Now She is with the angels in Heaven, or something similar. I have seen this somewhere, they were produced- along with more conventional live Royal portraits, in large quantities for memorial purposes afte she died on Jan 05, 1926.
