Yes. They invented the arch which gave them aqueducts, domes supported by arches, and colosseum/arenas. They also used arches to design the first shopping mall and apartments that were multistory. Along with the arch they invented cement so together they were able to produce buildings that still exist today.

∙ 11y agoThere is actually evidence of the Romans using a crossbow of very similar design to Medieval models. This can be seen in the gaulish reliefs and at the Xanten excavation site.
