for armor and food the best armor you have plus swordfish, or lobster. For weapons bring Adam or rune for melee, a crossbow with bronze bolts for range (if you are going to range the dragon I suggest being a member so you can use tipped bolts especially pearl and also better crossbows). If you are going to use magic on the dragon bring your best combat runes plus some body( for attack and strength decrease spells). also I recommend bringing in teleport spells in case you need to escape quickly.

Member could only use crossbows. The only free-to-play cross bow is a bronze crossbow that only shot bronze bolts. it is a very weak weapon and isn't very effecive. :)
