I'm think no that Squanto and Pocohants had never met each other Pocahontas died in 1617. But Squanto has met Smith and at that time Pocohontas and Smith were married so there was a chance that they have known each other.

Squanto and Pocahontas lived in different regions during the same time period and are not known to have met each other. Squanto was a member of the Patuxet tribe in present-day Massachusetts, while Pocahontas was a member of the Powhatan tribe in present-day Virginia.

Why do you know more about tue Aztec than about other south and Central American societies?

My knowledge of the Aztecs may be more extensive because they were a dominant civilization in Mesoamerica with well-documented historical records and cultural artifacts. However, I have a general understanding of other Mesoamerican societies such as the Maya, Inca, and Olmec as well. Each of these civilizations made unique contributions to the region's history and culture.

How do the facts we know about homo sapiens and neanderthals tell different stories about hominids developed?

The similarities and differences in the genetic and cultural evidence of Homo sapiens and Neanderthals suggest both interbreeding and distinct evolutionary paths. The genetic evidence shows interbreeding between the two groups, while archaeological evidence indicates differences in tool use, behavior, and adaptation to their environments. These contrasting stories highlight the complexity of hominid evolution and the diverse ways in which different species of hominids adapted and interacted with each other.

Why did Pocahontas pick Pocahontas as her name?

As most know the real life Pocahontas was named Matoka at birth. What most don't know is that her mother who was also named Pocahontas died when giving birth to Pocahontas. It is said by the oral history of the Indians in question that people called her Pocahontas even before the coming of age ceremony when she was about 10. These factors lead her to choose the name Pocahontas.Source: The true story of Pocahontas: the other side of historyBy Linwood Custalow, Angela L. Daniel
