Like all people he accomplished some of his goals, and failed at others.

One of his largest goals was to unite all Native Americans against the 'white man' and their invasion. Tecumseh realized that the 'white man' was a single unified force in that goal and would use any tool at their disposal to accomplish that goal. Without a unified resistance across all tribes, then the old rule of 'Divide and Conquer' would apply and the Native Americans would loose. History, of course, shows us that is what happened; and even today inter-tribal conflicts prevent tribes from asserting a unified front to enforce treaties.

No, Tecumseh's goal of creating a unified Native American confederacy was not achieved. Despite his efforts to unite tribes against American expansionism, various factors such as internal divisions and military setbacks prevented him from realizing this goal. Tecumseh's legacy, however, endures as a symbol of resistance against colonial forces.

What was Tecumseh's goal and did he accomplish?

Tecumseh hoped to unite the tribes of the Ohio Valley, Northwest, South and East Mississippi valleys to fight off white expansion into their territories. Tecumseh aligned with the British because he believed he had the best chance of achieving his goals of stopping the continued encroachment of their lands by supporting the British rather than the colonists. Unfortunately for Tecumseh and his people, the British were defeated and retreated, leaving him and his tribesmen to fight alone. He was killed in battle and his goal was never achieved.

A short-term goal is a goal that you can accomplish very easily and very quickly. That's why it's called a "short-term goal". Because it's easy to accomplish and make your goal quickly.
