Yes winchester did make the trappers carbine,which had a barrel length of 14,15,16 inches in length.The vast majority of these carbines are encountered with the 15in barrel,chambered in 30-30Win.Any other barrel length and chambering will bring a added premium.A rifle with only 10% original finish is worth 1,000 dollars,and these can go as high as 5,000 dollars for a fine example with 80%original finish remaining.I will say that most of these that are encountered are rusty and brown due to there heavy use.
