Did a woman write any chapters in the book of proverbs?
The Book of Proverbs was written by King Solomon (Proverbs 1:1, 1 Kings 5:12). Within the book itself, there are some passages which quote a woman, but it was Solomon who put them in writing (see for example Proverbs ch.31).

Proverbs I would like to ask what the basis is for this conclusion? The book of Proverbs itself contains no reference as to who it was written for, unless we count "my son" as used in Psalm 1:8, and that would invalidate a woman as its intended recipient.
