REAL baby boomers were born after US Servicemen returned home at the end of WW2, in 1945. ONLY during WW2, were nearly all US males gone, leaving only women, children and the elderly at home. When the men came home, the baby boom began. But because it is such a good marketing ploy, the commercial market has termed "baby boomers" to be anyone born up to the 1960's. Which of course, is incorrect, since WW2 ended 15 years earlier. However, anyone born in 1945 thru 1950 (the start of the Korean War), would have been ages 10 thru 15 in 1960...15 thru 20 in 1965, and 20 thru 25 in 1970.
