The Joker, Scarecrow, Penguin, Riddler, Mr. Freeze, Hush, Bane, etc.
The Joker (Jack Nicholson), also known as Jack Napier, in the 1989 batman movie. The line was first used in a flashback scene as Jack Napier shot both Bruce Wayne's (Michael Keaton) parents. It was later asked in Vicky Vale's (Kim Bassinger) apartment when The Joker shot Bruce Wayne, then using a silver plate to cover his heart from the bullet. When the Joker asked the above quote, this was a revelation to Bruce that it was the Joker who killed his parents. The quote was later used when Bruce, as Batman, confronted the Joker in the belltower of an old cathedral. So yes, it was the Joker in Tim Burton's Batman (1989) and whoever says otherwise needs to rewatch this movie!!!!
The Joker's real name is Jack Napier in some versions.
Jack Napier
That really depends on which animated version. The 60s cartoon, Superfriends, Batman TAS/New Adventures of Batman, Batman Beyond:Return of the Joker, The Batman, or The Brave & the Bold?Let's say you're talking about TAS. It was based on the Tim Burton movie, which replaced Joe Cool with Jack Napier (faux name). That Joker looked about 20 when Batman was about 10, so if Bruce was 20-30 as Batman, then the Hamill-Joker was 30-40. But in the comics, the Joker could easily be the same age or even younger than Bruce Wayne.
The cast of Joker - 2007 includes: Bruce Dearness as Bruce Liam Furlong as Liam Ben Nicol as Ben
Jack is the most common name used for the Joker's past. Jack White is the Alias used in a number of events such as the Arkham Asylum game, and Jack Napier is the name used in the film and TV series.
In the first movie from the late 80's, yes. In all technicality, though, The Joker is never given a name in the comic books. So technically, no. The Joker does not have any given name. Hope this helped!
It was never revealed who the Joker's parents are.
In the 1989 Batman movie directed by Tim Burton, Jack Nicholson's Joker character does not speak during the scene where Batman's parents are killed. The scene is a flashback that shows a young Bruce Wayne witnessing the tragedy.
