Bertrand Baudelaire was imagined to be the one parent that survived. No one knows for sure, however, but most of the speculation shows that Bertrand Baudelaire was the parent that survived.

What is the thirteenth book in the series of unfortunate events about?

Book 8 is called 'The Hostile Hospital'. Violet, Klaus and Sunny end up staying in a hospital. They find a file which shows a picture of their parents, Jacques Snicket and an unknown man, and a caption saying that there could be a survivor of a fire, which leads the orphans into thinking that one of their parents could be alive. Violet is then captured by Esme Squalor, given anaesthetic, and an anagram of her name is hidden in a patient list. Klaus and Sunny disguise themselves as doctors and decode the patient list to find Violet. Count Olaf is planning to operate on Violet by giving her a cranioectomy (cutting her head off). When Klaus and Sunny follow Esme Squalor to the operating theatre they have to perform the operation themselves. Klaus tries to stall the operation to give time for the anaesthetic to wear off, but he has to make a quick escape with Violet and Sunny. Count Olaf sets the hospital on fire, and Violet, Klaus and Sunny are trapped in a store cupboard. Violet wakes up in time to invent something to get the three siblings out of the burning building, and because they are believed to be murderers, the book ends with them climbing into the trunk of Olaf's car as he drives away, to escape from being captured by the authorities.

Who is Dewey in Series of Unfortunate event's?

He is one of Denoument triplets. He and Kit had a relationship; he's the father of her child. He was introduced in Book 12 (The Penultimate Peril). He died at the end of Book 12(he was shot in the chest with a harpoon gun). The Baudelaires were accused of his murder, even though it wasn't really their fault. He was really nice; the Baudelaires loved him and hoped that he would become their guardian.

In a series of unfortunate events do they find their parents?

The question is never fully answered and remains a mystery. From what I have read it is revealed in the autobiography that Beatrice (the woman Lemony Snicket loves and is always talking about) is in fact their mother. Another book came out called the Beatrice Letters which also includes some clues as well. However I don't think the question is ever answered.

Did the mothers of Kane and The Undertaker die in a fire when they were children?

Our contributors disagree:NoYes, apparently The Undertaker set alight a small business that this family owned, and both of his parents died as well as one of his brothers. Kane was inside when the place was on fire but he survived with multiple cu, burns, and bruises. If you look at one of his eye's you can clearly see that it was so hurt from the fire that it messed up his eye. It's a contact lens. If you search for his real name and look at his family photos, you will see his eye is fine.

If you drank gasoline and survived would your urine be flammable?

No one knows because no one can survived drinking gasoline, but I think not because the fire inside of you would kill you before you ever had the chance to urinate. Actually I survived. At age 5 I confused a drink for gasoline and drank it, luckily my uncle delivered me to the hospital with a carton of milk and I immediately started throwing it all up. If you think no one can survive then I'm a miracle child
