Industrial Revolution created a need for what?

The population growth (a change in the industrial revolution) is often questioned whether it is a cause or a consequence of the industrial revolution. The factories created a need for marrying earlier because children were working in them. For example the average death rate was just 19 in Manchester. Since people were getting married early they were also having children early. Thus the growth in population. Even though this supplied larger workface, it also created greater demand for foods and goods. This links with the change from open field to enclosure farming. So therefore i believe that the poulation growth was a consequence of the industrial revolution that created need for for food and other goods.

Why did northeners hate slavery?

The northerners didn't hate slavery in the beginning. They didnt need it. Most farms were not very large like plantations and the industrial revolution started there so they had small farms and no need for slaves. Eventually the reformers came around and everyone who didnt use them realized who cruel having a slave was. Hope this helped.

How did the industrial revolution affect the population of industrial countries?

It had a profound affect. Countries with cities having major ports may have actually doubled in population over a five to ten year period during the most productive years. This is primarily due to immigrants.

What was the effect of the industrial revolution in the early 1800s?

The Industrial Revolution was a period of history from 1650-1918. It was one of the fastest periods of Industrial growth in Britain and the rest of Europe to date. The steam engine, the sewing machine and child labour were all birth-children of the Industrial Revolution. It led to an increase in urbanization. However the most important result of the Industrial Revolution was World War 1. During the medieval period wars were small due to weapons having to be made by hand. However thanks to all the machines that could now be used to create weapons of death, the world was ready to move onto a higher form of war, The industrialised war. With guns, planes, boats and bombs all being mass produced we could kill more people than ever before. The Industrial Revolution was a great period of History, however it came at great costs.

Why do you have less farmers today?

There is less of a demand for farmers these days, and it started during the Industrial revolution. Humans are finding ways to not do work, and having machines farm for us is much easier, and requires less farmers. Plus, industrial jobs make more money.
