No, not Egyptian babies, Jewish babies. In the "Book of exodus" it mentioned the Jewish population(Whom were slaves at the time) growing too vast in Egypt.
So the Pharaoh (who was frightened that if their population grew too vast, the Hebrews would revolt and overthrow Egypt) decided that they would use the Hebrew babies as crocodile feed as a way of keeping the Jewish population down. So a the mother of moses, A Jew whom feared for her sons life, instead let him be raised by Egyptians as an Egyptian so he wouldn't fall victim to the same slaughter as the other children. Then he came back some years later and asked the pharaoh to let his people go, and so on.
Cruel, yes.
Factual, I'm not sure.
this was in the Five books of moses, ( the Torah, and The Bible.)
So if you're Christian, Catholic or Jewish, then Yes. This did happen.
But if not, don't trouble yourself with this fable.
As for myself, I just really like Theology. :)
Hope I could help.
There is no historical evidence supporting the claim that ancient Egyptians routinely threw their babies to crocodiles. Crocodiles were worshipped in some regions as sacred animals, but sacrificing babies to them was not a common practice in ancient Egypt.
Yes, that did indeed happened. The Egyptians were punished by God as Moses warned Ramesses II if he didn’t released his (Hebrew) people from slavery. As stubborn and prideful the Pharaoh was, he did not listen, and so a deadly plague took place all over Ancient Egypt.
The Plague started by turning the Nile River waters into a deep, crimson red color. Resembling blood! Then, frogs invaded the country and it just gets worse from there with the pestilence and the famine. But what stroke me the most, is the last punishment: ALL FIRST-BORN SONS SHALL BE KILLED, unless they smear animal blood on their doorstep (they shall be speared) you can say that……the Egyptian Pharaoh got a taste of his own medicine when his first-born son was killed.

No, crocodiles do not produce milk to feed their babies. Instead, baby crocodiles are independent from birth and need to catch their own food.
Crocodiles are apex predators and are typically not eaten by other animals. However, larger crocodiles may prey on smaller ones, and occasionally larger predators like lions or hyenas may scavenge on a crocodile if given the opportunity.
They are just called crocodiles because all crocodiles are cold-blooded. Although they are called crocodiles, there are different species of crocodiles.
No, crocodiles and alligators lay eggs. After mating, the female buries the eggs in a nest and guards them until they hatch, at which point the hatchlings are fully developed and able to survive on their own.
Crocodiles do not reproduce every month. Crocodiles do not have babies. Crocodiles lay eggs about once a year.
