All tribes including the seneca had a growing season. The growing season is not determined by the kind of people who are raising the crops The growing season refers to what crops can be grown in the area based upon crop, weather and soil issues. The growing season means how long it takes to bear the fruit of their labors from seed planting until harvesting.
