when the imports exceeds the imports then net exports are negative and positive is best for country.
negative effects- the emigrant may be important to the economy of the country and/or the population may decrease if there are many emigrants (people leaving country) than there are immigrants (people coming into the country) Positive effects- the emigrant may not have any effect on the economy or country and the population may stay the same.

Positive effects of imperialism in Egypt are the industrialization of the nation and better sanitation and education. Negative effects are the amount of money that had to be paid to the British and that the British brought new disease.
The positive effect could be that maybe they really like they're new country and they might get adapted to it but some negative effects would be that some people just can't adapt and maybe they cant speak the new foreign language.
