New Orleans??
One advantage that the Confederacy had in the war was its talented military leaders.
Having the better industry, as well as a largely effective naval blockade against the Confederacy, the Union had much better weaponry available to them. Some of it was captured by the Confederacy, but not nearly enough the compensate for the industrial abilities of the Union states.
the union didThe Union had better manufacturing, hands down.
The Union had a major advantage over the Confederacy because the Union had; Bigger armies, better iron production, better army production, and better banking.
Nobody is certain , but the United States (Union) Probably had a better Naval branch . By the end of the war , the Confederate Navy was almost in ruin . The Union army also had produced more Ironclads then the Confederacy .
They had more men to fight against the confederacy. The Union also had the government, navy, and almost all of the united states' factories.
- 2.5 million soldiers over 1 million soldiers - the union had a 700 ship navy, the Confederates just had a few sips they seized from the union - north was more industrialized - north had a better infrastructure- telegraph, railroad and shipping
No. The surrender of the Confederacy showed that the Union army and navy could conquer the south. It showed that the Union forces could make the South abandon slavery. The South had no choice in the matter.
The North was more industrialized than the South.
It was part of the Confederacy - and therefore not the Union.
If you are eligible for Navy Federal, I would suggest going with the credit union.
