Hitler hated Jews and blamed most of the countries problems on them. A lot of Europe was antisemitic so it was an easy sell. Hitler improved the conditions in Germany economically with lots of building projects, everyone had plenty of food and jobs and then he began his strategy with constant Propaganda against all Jews and the need to get rid of them. Because economics had improved under his leadership he was able to convince the people that his invasions of many countries, the extermination of the Jews and the superiority of the pure German race was essential for the healthy/reign of Germany. He not only hated and wanted to get rid of the Jews but also anyone mentally or physically challenged, gypsies, Jehovah Witnesses, communists and any others deemed undesirable.

The great depression had caused Germany, after WW1, to be able to affect people's minds much more. Hitler had promised to end the economical hardship of Germany, by, among other suggestions - making the Jews leave their jobs, and giving them to "the true Germans".

Also, the economical hardship of Germany made the Germans incredibly susceptible to anything that would relieve that pressure.

The great depression in Germany left many people confused and looking for someone or something to blame. Hitlers fiscal ideas were good, but he also offered the Germans a scapegoat for their suffering, Jewish people and immigrants.

Why did Hitler and his nazi party like the Great Depression?

In 1928, before the Great Depression, the Nazis did disastously in the general election, and Hitler was widely regarded as a grotesque, wildly gesticulating, screaming and shouting, funny little man. Why was Hitler so influential during the great depression?

Because he killed millions of people for no reason I think that since they have stem cell research, somewhere in the govt database or labs are the DNA of Hitler, I think that they should clone Hitler and give him another chance......I have nothing against him and he did what he felt was right similar like when people kill people for no reason. I personally admire Hitler and we need to bring him back an give him a chance. He is no lessthan a criminal similar to the guys and gals in jail and sentenced for 1-2 life terms

How did the Great Depression help lead the world into World War 2?

The main role the Great Depression played in leading the world into the second world war was that Hitler used it to gain power and votes. Because the Great Depression caused severe poverty, starvation and unemployment, Hitler promised to give the German people work, so that they could buy bread with their wages. One of his mottos was 'work, freedom, and bread'. He was promising them work, so that they could buy bread, and at the same time, freedom from the Treaty of Versailles. Not only that, but the Great Depression, like all crises, causes the public to turn to the extremes of politics. In other words, the public turns to the right wing and left wing parties, rather than the centre parties. The Nazi Party, Hitler's party, was right wing. So, naturally, the public turned to him and the communists (the left wingers). Hitler blamed the communists and socialists (centre parties) for the Great Depression. So, in summary, Hitler used the Great Depression to turn the public away from the communists and socialists, and by doing so, won over for himself many votes. He also promised work and bread to the Germans - the biggest needs of the German people of that time.
