Did the pilgrims have beer?

Most definitely! In fact, the Pilgrims were not headed for Massachusetts - they were steering for somewhere further south, like modern-day Georgia, where the weather is friendlier. The only reason they stopped suddenly in Massachusetts at the onset of winter is that they ran out of beer! The diary of one Mayflower passenger stated: "We could not now take time for further search...our victuals being much spent, especially our beer..." In fact, many original settlers were brewers, as this was primarily done in the home during this time. One of the first permanent structures built when they landed was a communal brewery for the colonists! Cheers to that!

Where did pilgrams land?

The pilgrims landed somewhere near cape cod in Massachusetts. (if you are talking about the ones on the Mayflower) they were headed to Virginia and got blown off course. There is the famous Plymouth rock, but is is very unlikely that they actually hit the rock. This is because, Europeans and American colonists did not start carving dates on rocks and trees ect. until a period after the Mayflower and the Pilgrims. Suggesting that someone came back and carved the date on the rock around were they ran aground. I did a big thing on this in my A.P history class.
