I think you may be confusing this with the death of Napoleon Bonaparte in exile. Wallpaper did not play a part in the death of Henry VIII. Henry in later years, suffered with ill health. In the bedroom where Napoleon slept was wallpaper that contained arsenic paint in its decoration. It was claimed in more modern times, that, when a lock of Napoleon's hair was analysed, it contained high levels of arsenic, so someone jumped to the conclusion that this is why Napoleon died. Although this has been discounted, the story is still believed by some.
